Information stored by the app
Ambl stores the information you choose to enter so the app can plan, record, and recall your workouts. This can include:
- Your workout preferences and measurement units.
- Planned, active, saved, and completed workouts.
- Exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, distance, and time you record.
- Custom Exercise names and feedback you give about Exercises.
This information is stored locally on your device. Ambl does not operate an account system, upload this information to an Ambl server, or use it for advertising or tracking.
Purchases and subscription access
Apple processes Ambl's monthly subscription, introductory trial, and lifetime-purchase transactions through the App Store. Ambl uses verified StoreKit transaction and renewal information to confirm your access. Apple handles payment details and purchase records under Apple's own privacy terms. Ambl does not receive your full payment-card details.
Sharing a workout
If you choose to share a workout, Ambl creates a file containing the workout details shown to you and opens the iOS share sheet. You decide which app or person receives it. Information shared this way is then handled by the service or person you select.
Contacting support
If you submit the Help form in Ambl, the email address, topic, and message you enter are sent to Ambl Support. Ambl uses this information only to receive and respond to your request.
The request is processed by Ambl's website hosting provider and email provider, Resend. These providers may process standard technical request information to deliver and protect the service. Do not include payment-card details, passwords, or sensitive health information in a support request.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Ambl does not include analytics or advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell personal information.
This website
This website does not ask you to create an account or submit personal information through its public pages. Like most hosted websites, its hosting infrastructure may process standard technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details, and request time, to deliver and protect the site and Help form endpoint. Ambl does not use that information for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Your choices
You control the information entered into Ambl. You can remove locally stored Ambl information by deleting the app from your device. Deleting the app does not delete purchase records held by Apple; those records allow eligible purchases to be restored.
Children's privacy
Ambl is not directed to children, and Ambl does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change if Ambl's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when that happens.
